‘Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn’ UPDATE

There is no lack of news this week when it comes to the hit ‘Twilight Saga’.

The latest film installment of the book series, ‘Breaking Dawn’, has cast actress Maggie Grace in the role of Irina, a member of another vampire clan. Irina blames the Cullen family for the death of her lover, Laurent. Little heard of Mackenzie Foy is rumored to have the role of Renesmee, the half-human and half-vampire daughter of Edward and Bella. It has also been announced that the honeymoon segment of the movie will be filmed in Brazil.

‘Breaking Dawn’ will be released in two film segments.

The first installment is set to release in November 2011, followed by the second segment in November 2012. The movie is set to be the final ‘Twilight’ film.

Synopsis: Doug Riley and his wife Lois have been living a half life since their daughter Emily was killed eight years ago. Doug has coped by having an affair with Vivian, a waitress. Lois has struggled, harbouring a secret and devastating sense of guilt for her daughters death. She has withdrawn into herself and hides away from the outside world, relying on hairdressers who make house calls, her sister, Harriet, and the local pastor.

When Vivian dies, Doug is lost. On a business trip to Baton Rouge he finds himself at a crossroads. And in a strip club. A 16 year old lap dancer Mallory offers him extras in a private room. He turns her down but goes home to her run down apartment and makes his own proposition. He offers to pay her $100 a day if he can stay for a while, get his head together. No sex. No strings. Mallory isnt used to getting money for nothing, but whatever Doug rings Lois and tells her he isn’t coming home.

Para que estava com saudades da nossa querida Elizabeth Reaser poderá vê-la nos novos capítulos da série The Good Wife que volta a ser exibida no dia 28 de outubro nos E.U.A. Confiram abaixo a nota sobre a adição de Elizabeth ao elenco e um pouco sobre o seu papel.

Elizabeth Reaser e Lili Taylor estão se unindo a série ‘The Good Wife’ em papéis recorrentes, como o TVGuide.com afirma com exclusivamente.

Os produtores executivos Robert e Michelle King revelam que Reaser, 35, fará o papel de Tammy, uma escritora de esportes que servirá como um novo interesse amoroso para o Will (Josh Charles). Taylor, 43, fará Donna Seabrook, um possível par romântico para Kalinda (Archie Panjabi).

Reaser aparecerá pela primeira vez no drama da CBS em 19 de outubro, enquanto a primeira aparição de Taylor está prevista para novembro.

Além de seu papel como Esme Cullen em Crepúsculo, Reaser é conhecida por seu trabalho em Grey’s Anatomy e na curta série The Ex-List. Taylor atuou em séries como “Six Feet Under e mais recentemente apareceu em Public Enemies.

Controlador, e, francamente, assustador. Na vida real esses personagens fariam as mulheres mais sensíveis correrem para as montanhas. A bunch of Twilight aficionados got together last week, but there were no squeals or Edward-induced fainting spells. Rather, a group of scientists, educators and authors met at Cambridge to explore how the vampire craze exemplified by the Twilight series may be shaping young minds, notes MSNBC. Sample session: "What Is It About Good Girls and Vampires?"

"We need to be aware of young people's being influenced by what they read or watch, the games they play. It all plays a very important role," the organizer explained. And, when it comes to Twilight in particular, that "role" may not be very positive. She slammed the "conservative values" in the books—echoed in the movies—and the passivity of the heroine, Bella. The Twilight series does "not in any way endorse independent thinking or personal development or a woman's position as an independent creature," says a Cambridge professor. "That's quite depressing."
