The proposed 3D version of Twilight will not be a reality after the movie’s creators; Summit Entertainment confirmed to MTV that only standard versions of Breaking Dawn will be shot. Kristen Stewart will surely not be happy with this news after she revealed how ecstatic she was about the 3D movies in the past when speaking to MTV.In the same interview, Taylor Lautner didn’t seem much excited about the prospect of a 3D movie. He revealed that he wasn’t sure how the 3D version of the movie will turn out because he believed it will be more difficult to get the exact storyline to come out in a 3D movie. Many people believe that the Twilight group decided to scrap the 3D plans so the next Twilight movies will be accessible to movie fans who are not so crazy about 3D.
3D is believed to be exciting to geeky movie fans and as such doesn’t have as much appeal at the moment.
