TWILIGHT girls Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning become creatures of the night in their new film The Runaways.

GUITAR HEROINE: Kristen as Joan

Fans of the usually chaste pair will be shocked to see them having sex with each other, snorting drugs and going on mindless rampages, in this biopic about Joan Jett, founder of the titular band.

Here are the first two pics of the girls in action - Dakota as the band's lead singer Cherie Currie, wearing some kind of Ann Summers-looking contraption, and Kristen as Joan, strumming the guitar in her pants and a vest.

The Runaways goes on general release in UK cinemas on Friday 10 September.
